Our Vision

Hi! My name is Pratibha Govind, and I am a second-generation jeweller. People like to joke I was born with diamonds in my DNA. I was raised in the industry, often spending hours behind the scenes at my Father’s gemstone cutting and Brother’s jewellery factory.

Truthfully, I did not initially set out to follow in my family’s footsteps but had my eyes set on MIB(Masters in International Business). I attended the University of Rajasthan in Jaipur and masters in international business, all while continuing to design jewelry. By the time I graduated, I was faced with an important choice: to continue with jewellery, my passion, or pursue as I had originally planned. In 2018, after graduating from the, IIGJ of of jaipur We founded Johraas.

Our History

Wanting to create an accessible luxury fine jewellery and leather bag brand, I built my business on the simple but important idea your jewellery should make you feel as comfortable as your favourite t-shirt and as amazing as your little black dress. I strive to create luxurious, everyday pieces women are excited to buy for themselves and gift to their loved ones. Johraas pieces are designed to become the cherished keepsakes women wear to capture all of life’s memories – from major milestones to everyday moments.
